which carries so much inside…
pictures, memories, words.

Afsaneh Monemi hand-build her high fragile forms piece by piece. The surfaces are slip painted within a technique called photocopy monoprints. The bodies are modelled from scraps of thin clay mixed with paper.

The mystery of the ocean

 I have worked for several years with fibre clay in the theme of “The mystery of the ocean” that l granted for, in 2007, by Swedish state’s Art Foundation. (two years Works Grant.) The result of this project, I exhibited in different Art Galleries in Sweden and the other Europeans’ countries, like:
